varun dhawan, alia bhatt, raha,

One of Bollywood’s most beloved onscreen pairs, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, has captured the hearts of fans with their charming chemistry. Their cinematic journey began with Karan Johar’s romantic comedy, Student of the Year. And they have since graced the screen together in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017), and Kalank (2019). Now, both stars are relishing the joys of parenthood, with Alia and her husband Ranbir Kapoor welcoming their daughter, Raha Kapoor, in 2022, while Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal celebrated the arrival of their little girl, Lara Dhawan, this year.

Varun Dhawan reveals if Lara and Raha have met

In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Varun Dhawan shared, “I think Raha and Lara have met. Lara is still very small, but they have indeed met.” This raises the delightful prospect of Raha and Lara forming a friendship as they grow up, much like their parents did.

But what about their onscreen reunion? Varun mentioned that he and Alia are actively searching for the right script but haven’t found the perfect project yet. In the meantime, their conversations are filled with adorable anecdotes about their little girls. Isn’t that just heartwarming?

During the promotion of his upcoming film Baby John, Varun also revealed which of his films he hopes Lara will watch first. Interestingly, he chose an Alia-starrer! He remarked, “I think the first film she could watch is Student of the Year. It’s a light and enjoyable movie for her to see.”

Varun & Alia’s upcoming projects

Looking ahead, Varun is set to showcase his nurturing side in Atlee’s eagerly awaited action thriller, Baby John, where he stars alongside Wamiqa Gabbi and Keerthy Suresh, hitting theatres this Christmas. Meanwhile, Alia is busy filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Love & War, alongside Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal. One thing is for sure: Lara and Raha must be beaming with pride at their talented parents!
